Children’s Drawings – Understanding What They Tell Us
Children often express what they feel and think through drawings long before they can put it into words. Their pictures can reveal emotions, relationships, and experiences that they might not be able to explain directly.
In our sessions, drawing becomes a way for children to communicate freely and safely. Together, we look at what the drawing might tell us about their inner world — their wishes, fears, strengths, and challenges.
Understanding your child’s drawings can help you see what they are trying to say, even when they don’t have the words yet. This process supports emotional awareness, strengthens connection, and helps parents respond to their child’s needs with empathy and insight.
